Christmas Countdown Freebie

My students will be making this Christmas Countdown next week. Every year they love this craft, because it has a real Christmas bow on it! (You can usually grab a bag of bows for under $3 at most stores.) If you would like to make this freebie with your kids, you can download it from my Free Resource Library HERE.

Directions: To make this Christmas Countdown, copy the present onto card stock, color, and cut out. Glue both pages together to make the front and the back of the present. Then make a chain alternating red and green strips of construction paper (the number of chain links should equal the number of days until Christmas). Make sure that the last one is gold (or yellow) for Christmas Day. You can glue the gold chain link in-between the front and the back papers (see picture above). Last, place a self adhesive bow on the present.
