Hello, Sweet Friends! How are you enjoying The Daily 5? After reading chapter 4, I am ready to launch the Read to Self portion of Daily 5 in my classroom this fall! I am going to use these posters to teach my students the three ways to read a book.

My favorite part about chapter 2 was this: When you think about it, it really makes sense! When students understand the purpose of doing something and have a choice on which task they complete, they are naturally more motivated to stay busy and learn. I love the idea of teaching
