Gearing up for the test! {FREEBIE!}

My students start taking their end-of-level test next week (EEK!). Since the rest of you are either testing already or getting ready to test, I thought I would share a few things…
1. I will make (or buy) some “Smart Cookies” to remind my students how SMART they are!
2. Doesn’t everyone need a SHHHH… sign?  It helps keep unwanted visitors out during testing time.
3. And last but not least, I will sent this note home with my kids the night before our first test.

I am also loving Hope’s testing treats! I’m going to make a few for my class and then I think I’ll have them give a little treat and note to their 6th grade buddies. Click on the image to check it out!

I recently came across this awesome website called Teach Train Love on Pinterest. The author is a first grade teacher and she has an awesome list of brain break clips.  (And they are all on SafeShare.TV not YouTube – Bonus!) Click on the images to check out all the videos.

My favorite is the Dinosaur Stomp Video and I can’t wait to show it to my kids!

How do you prepare for end-of-level testing in your classroom?
