Finger Beams – Great for Guided Reading Groups

These Finger Beams are a perfect for Guided Reading and a GAME CHANGER! My students are so excited for small reading groups, because they know they will get to use them. Now my students are begging to read with me (they only get to use them during small group reading time).

These finger beams have benefited all of my students, but they have especially helped my struggling students! They look forward to reading time now, and they try really hard to follow along with the correct words. I knew these little flashlights would be fun, but I had no idea how much they would motivate my kids.

I always end my guided reading groups with a reader response worksheet to assess comprehension and ensure that they are paying attention. Reading Comprehension Worksheets & Activities contains 90+ PRINT-AND-GO reading response worksheets, games, and activities that can be used with ANY BOOK and I use this packet daily!! They are easy to use and SO easy to print off. The worksheets and activities in this packet are perfect for small group instruction, centers, and whole group instruction (ideal for grades K-3).
