Inflectional Word Endings (-ed, -ing)

Last week we learned about word endings (-s, -ed, -ing). My students had a lot of fun with these activities and they loved the “ed” and “ing” posters I made for them. The “-ing” poster has young kids on it, because when words end with “-ing” it means it is happening now. The “ed” poster has old people on it, because when words end with “-ed” it means it happened in the past.

This packet was made to teach/review the inflectional word endings (suffixes) “-ed” and “-ing” (and a little bit of “-s”). The activities in this packet will help your students write and read words with these inflectional word endings and recognize root words. You can purchase this hands-on packet in my TpT store.
